Ruben Eliassen is an illustrator, designer and a childrenbook author, born in Trondhjem in 1968.
He dropped out of school in 8. grade strongly affected by Pink Floyd "The Wall" and Jens Bjøneboes
book "Jonas". He started in an advertisingfirm and worked freelance as an illustrator in Konk, Semic and
more.
He moved to Oslo as 18 and worked as an illustrator in newspapers and magazines.
His drawingtechnique is vary and all-round, since 1994 he have illustrated digitaled on Mac.
For Phenomena 1 Ruben Eliassen got "Kulturdepartementes debutantpris", and many thousand children have him
"Ark-prisen 2002". His books is sold to Danmark, Sweden and Finland.
